The Student Night and Job Fair will bring together local universities while also bringing together renowned firms and companies. Come out to meet likeminded people in the engineering community. Register early and upload your resumes to make a successful turnout at the career fair!

If you're into hiking and the outdoors, come along on our spring hike in February to enjoy good company and nature

Also come out to our intramural basketball practices to meet new people and enjoy a good game!

Student Night & Job Fair

The 2017 Student Night & Job Fair hosted by the ASCE LA Younger Member Forum is rapidly approaching. It will be held this year at the Conga Room at the LA Live (800 W Olympic Blvd, LA CA 90015) on February 3. SNJF is a premier event bringing together the best and brightest from eleven local universities in the LA Metropolitan area. SNJF celebrates the accomplishments of future engineers by acknowledging superior student leaders and the efforts of ASCE collegiate chapters, and brings them together with the best civil engineering firms and organizations in the Los Angeles area.

Monday: 6:30-9 PM

Thursday: NO MEETINGS
Friday: 12- whenever we finish!

Geotechinal Wall

Interested in retaining walls and geotechnical engineering? Come out to our first Geotech meeting! We will be learning more about the specifics of this year's competition and we will start to plan out what were going to do.

When: Thursday @ 4 – 5 p.m

Steel Bridge

Interested in learning how to create a steel bridge??? The time has finally come. Please sign up for power tool training times this week here! Sign up times will be closing 24 hours before the scheduled time - so please be sure to plan ahead.

Surveying

This semester we will be having surveying meetings to get familiar with using the total station. We will start practice sessions within the next two weeks. The meetings will involve learning how to set up the total station and how to work with it to measure distances and elevation and other cool things.

Location: E-quad

Time: Wednesday 3:30-4:30

Guess What? Intramural Basketball is Back!

Games are on Wednesday at either 5:30 or 6:30, and the league runs from 1/24 -2/26. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends and bond through making it rain! Last semester was lit, and we're looking to make a deeper playoff run this time around.
