We've announced the costs and dates of PSWC 2014, please check out the details below. While PSWC registration won't happen until January, you can get a discount if you pay your $30 membership dues and fill out a membership form by the end of this semester. You can give dues to an Eboard member or leave them in our mailbox in KAP 213. Save an additional $5 off PSWC by filling out our survey!

The Environmental Design Team is going to kick-off their year with an ice cream social on Monday 11/25 at 5:15 PM, outside KAP. Please RSVP if you are going. If you are interested in joining the Environmental Team's mailing list, please email water@uscasce.com

Concrete Canoe is holding an all-team meeting tomorrow (Thursday, 11/21) at 6pm in the KAP lobby. The rest of our sub-teams are meeting at their regular times, with the last paddling practice of the semester this Sunday. Steel Bridge is now meeting twice weekly: Wednesdays at 5:15 and Fridays at noon.

Please note that no design teams will be meeting between Tuesday 11/26 and Sunday 12/1 due to Thanksgiving Break!

If you are interested in writing or helping out with the Technical Paper for PSWC, on the topic "Natural Disasters – What are the Civil Engineer’s Responsibilities?", please email uscasce@usc.edu.

Environmental Design Team Ice Cream Social

Everyone in ASCE, especially those interested in the Environmental Design Team, is welcome to come! Pacific Southwest Conference (PSWC) 2014

We've announced some details for our big conference where all of our design teams compete: PSWC. We expect to take around 40-50 people depending on interest.

Dates: April 2 -6, 2014 (Wednesday evening after classes - Sunday morning)
Location: San Diego, CA

Cost: $90*
, including conference registration, hotel, travel

* Cost is discounted to $75 for all USC ASCE members who pay their $30 membership dues before the end of this semester (by 12/6/2013).  You can get an additional $5 discount by filling out our Fall 2013 Survey. Conference forms and fees will not be collected until we announce more details in January.

We're in the early stages of planning a USC ASCE Ski Trip  in January! Please fill out this form so we can gauge interest!

Concrete Canoe Sub-Team Weekly Meetings

Our canoe team is split into five sub-teams that hold weekly meetings. Every sub-team welcomes new members throughout the semester and no experience is required to join any of the teams!

Aesthetics – Mondays at 5:15pm, KAP 167

Structures – Mondays at 6:30pm, SAL Commons

Construction – Thursdays at 4pm, KAP Lobby (go to KAP Basement if you're late)

Mix Design– Fridays at 2pm, KAP lobby (go to KAP Basement if you're late)

Paddling – Sundays 9:30 AM in front of KAP, last meeting of the semester this week!

If you have any questions about canoe or want to discuss any component, come to co-captain Jake Hermle's Office Hours Fridays from 12-2 in the TA Room (KAP 239).
